The founder of Behind Bars Initiative Prince Harrison took to Facebook to share the story of how police brutalised a corper named Famous Joshua at Uronigbe along Agbor- Abraka Delta State. According to him,the policemen maltreated him after wrongly accusing him of snapping them. Read his story below

The Nigerian Senate has sworn in Chief Victor Umeh of the All Progressives Grand Alliance as the member representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber.
The swearing-in, which was supervised by the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, began at 10:50 am and lasted 10 minutes.
Umeh was accompanied by his wife and a host of loyal supporters who filled the chamber’s gallery and the Press Centre.
Senator Umeh becomes the only APGA Senator in the present Senate and the first Senator of the party from Anambra State.

This is very unfortunate. A police officer was gruesomely killed yesterday by armed robbers at his duty post located at Wapa Super Market in Katsina state. According to reports, the police officer left his home by 6pm, he was shot dead by the armed robbers at exactly 7pm (1 hour later).
The robbers reportedly made way with goods and undisclosed sum of money.

There is tension in Oke-Ako and Irele communities in Ikole local government area of Ekiti state following the alleged killing of a Fulani herdsmen on Monday
The herdsmen, whose name was given as Babuba Dengi, was killed in a bush between the two communities by settlers suspected to be Benue state indigenes.
The incident forced the state Governor, Ayo Fayose, to summon a meeting on Tuesday night at the Government House in Ado Ekiti, where he warned famers and herdsmen against turning the state to a war zone
The Governor has given a marching order to security agencies in the state to fish out the killers of the herdsmen and bring them to Justice
The Governor also warned that,there is no room for the killing of Fulani herdsmen or famers or anybody in the state, saying "resent steps taken by his administration to prevent violence between farmers and herdsmen do not give anybody license to unlawfully take human's life"
The Governor stoke during a meeting with Fulani herdsmen under the aegis of Miyetti Allah cattle breeders association of Nigeria, famers, Local hunters,security operatives and representatives of Tiv community in the state
The governor said
“I want peace in my state and everybody living here is from Ekiti whether you are Fulani, Tiv, Yoruba or anybody "
